PassionFord April 2007 Nurburgring Trip:

 

I have collected all the info from the other topics and put it all into this one topic to make it easier for folk to understand and get their acts together. I will update each of the first 4 posts as required so the important info stays at the top where we can reach it easily.

 

The Dates:

Arrive at Nurburgring: Thursday 5th April 2007.

Leave the Nurburgring: Tuesday 10th April 2007.

 

Available travel crossings: (Dates, prices & times yet to be confirmed.)

Eurotunnel at Folkestone.

Bookings for tunnel crossing can be made on the Eurotunnel website Here:

Leave UK 10am on the 4th. Leave at 5pm on the 10th.

 

Ferry from Dover to Boulogne

Ferry from Hull - Rotterdam.

Many booked on the Hull outbound at 9pm on the 4th April.

Returning on the 9PM ferry from Rotterdam on the 10th.

 

 

Facts and figures:

The Nurburgring is approximately 250miles drive from Calais.

From Birmingham it's about 8 hrs total drive to the Ring.

12 Laps of the ring will cost 144 Euros (around £100).

The tunnel crossing “per car” is approx £150 return

En tur på ringen slår lett billig flesk og annet skrot.

om noen her sier at de vil være med nedover blir jeg med, tar ikke sjanen på og være i tyskland i 5 dager alene er jo **** så vidt jeg forstår dansk
