Trehjulssykkel (1/6)

  1. I am not familiar with the types of Fords I see on this forum too much. Are these mostly the street versions of Rally cars?? Also I have noticed that many of the cars on this site look something like a car that alot of people had when I was a little younger in the US which is a Merkur X4Tti. Is the car related to some of these??? I didnt even know the Merkur had anything to do with Ford
  2. Well the first person to see the Cobra today is buying it. As soon as the Cleveland cranks they decide immediately. The car will be leaving Norway and going to the UK . Kind of sad though. I just want to say "thanks alot vegvesen!!"
  3. Here is one of my old F350's. I owned a tree/logging company all my life. After hurricane Katrina in 2005 we were cutting trees on the highway system to clean up. We did not have enough trucks to carry the equipment I brought so one of the machines had to be pulled on a 10 meter gooseneck trailer by my 2003 F350 7.3L diesel 2wd and my 550 sometimes. These trucks pulled this machine for 4 months. It is not a fake or staged picture. Eventually it did break the clutch on the F350 after 3-4 months. http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i385/adrtree/Oldford001.jpg
  4. Here is the cobra on finn . If anyone is interested in it best to call me at 3708-8776 or 9182-1057. If you dont speak english my wife or one of the kids can explain it all in Norsk. The ad describes most everything. It will need new shocks. It needs new tires. It needs new sway bar bushings. I can assist with getting these from the US. And I would replace the carpet eventually but I think the current carpet is ok just not great. It really needs to be cleaned very well. I don't have a very good garage for the car right now so it is hard to keep it clean. It stays in more of a tractor barn than a garage for the last month. This car needs to be in a heated, clean garage. I hate to see it go http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/object?finnkode=27292217 Thanks, Allen
  5. Capri do you have any pics of your motor build?? Check out my friends 67 GT. This is a Windsor build. Believe it or not he is selling that car now for under 20k US. Its an unbelievable deal but theres no way it would be ok here. Its tubbed and what not. http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i385/adrtree/DSCN0422.jpg http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i385/adrtree/DSCN0434.jpg And heres my engine. Definately not as fancy as my buddies but still a good one. http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i385/adrtree/Cobra2018.jpg
  6. If I moved back then I would miss this lovely weather too much. Great driving weather here(for tractors). Maybe I should get a rally car myself. I bet its alot of fun. And Cossie the rules on toll.no say 1 year but then after 1 year you can apply for another year. You can reapply for up to 3 years on a yearly basis.
  7. This car was a former club racer. It is a quicker car than most of the 427 side oilers. It has beat many 427's in the past. In the first 3 gears I have very serious traction problems as is on 295/50 tires. More torque would not be a good thing. We do not know the current HP on the car without a dyno but it is way up there. And plates in Norway will take alot of time and effort to get. The registration is something I probally don't want to deal with and something I cannot afford. I can drive on the current plates for 1 year but I will probally be selling the car sometime soon as I desperately need a Truck for working on a house we are buying here. I hate to see it go but sometimes you have to do things that make sense. And thanks for the welcomes!
  8. Unique built the body and frame. It is Fiberglass and Aluminum. The rest of the car was custom built by an old race driver and mechanic in Georgia. It is very light only around 2400 lbs. Is your car a Rally car? I have been watching rally races on youtube. The craziest crashes I have ever seen.
