Jeg holder på med en 96 mod 1 , 8 zetec motor, også begynner clutchen å bli dårlig.

Er det noen som vet om en sterkere clutch, som passer over på den bilen?

F.eks. RS2000 eller XR3i clutch?

Just use the mondeo/rs2000 gearbox. And the clutch that belongs with it.

mener at alt av mk5 escort med 1,8 zetec har ib5 kasse... bare xr3i,rs2000 som kom med mtx kasse...

men som sagt, er så si 100% sikker på at det er KUN xr3i og rs2000 som hadde mtx kassene...

We are talking about a MTX 75 box? it is a straight bolt on to the zetec. So far as i know. I am going to use the mondeo box to. Not sure about the driveshafts though

nope, we are talking about the a engine whit a ib5 box. 1,8 zetec turbo whit a bad clutch" standar clutch", it slips on boost...

and he was wondering what clutch he could fit, ore if he need a custom on..

 

whit the IB5 box a uprated rst clutch will be bolt on..

I had to read it first. Stupid me. And you say the conversion is to much for your visa? What about mine hehe.

Jeg mener at hvis girstanga har en sånn sak til å nappe opp for å få den i revers så er det mtx og har den ikke det så er det ib5. mtx har syncronisering på reversen=mye morro om vinteren, og ib5 har ikke.

blir selv slikt på min zvh motor, 2,0 med 1,8 svinghjul, bare med BC kasse, identisk med IB5 bare at den stammer fra rst..

The 1.6 and 1.8 Fiesta/Escort Zetec flywheel takes the same 220mm dia clutches as the 1600 MK4 Escort so any heavy duty clutches for the Escort RST will be fine.

The conversion i offer is only expensive due to the parts needed

 

custom drive shafts are 500gbp pair

clutch to take 350bhp is around 400gbp

The mounts are 250gbp

S1 or RS16i rollbar is 200gbp

linage is 150gbp

 

So as you can see i dont make much money from selling this conversion as most of the money is taken on parts needed.
