Lovely car! Love them old Cobras. Did Unique m.s. build it? Fibreglas shell?

Unique built the body and frame. It is Fiberglass and Aluminum. The rest of the car was custom built by an old race driver and mechanic in Georgia. It is very light only around 2400 lbs. Is your car a Rally car? I have been watching rally races on youtube. The craziest crashes I have ever seen.

I see. Can you get norwegian license-plates on it? You haven't thought about putting in the 427 sideoiler instead of the 351C? They might be abit expenssive.?.

The car in my signatur isen't my car, but Colin McRae's old escort. Now owned by his family and raced at special a occasions. I have the same car, but its sort of in another league.. Junior league.. Just for fun, not rallying.

Adtree; we might have "met" on the Club Cobra forum? I've been using that forum alot, at first because it was the only decent place for Webers on SBF's- discussions. Which means I've been tuning a W302 stroker w/ Webers for some years. Have no Cobra's, though,- great cars, they are....

This car was a former club racer. It is a quicker car than most of the 427 side oilers. It has beat many 427's in the past. In the first 3 gears I have very serious traction problems as is on 295/50 tires. More torque would not be a good thing. We do not know the current HP on the car without a dyno but it is way up there.

And plates in Norway will take alot of time and effort to get.

The registration is something I probally don't want to deal with and something I cannot afford. I can drive on the current plates for 1 year but I will probally be selling the car sometime soon as I desperately need a Truck for working on a house we are buying here. I hate to see it go but sometimes you have to do things that make sense. And thanks for the welcomes!

The 351C sure got potensial. But the 427 is just awsome. Dont say you need it but still.

The senseable thng to do would be to take your car, your wife, (kids), and belongings and move back to the US..

If I moved back then I would miss this lovely weather too much. Great driving weather here(for tractors). Maybe I should get a rally car myself. I bet its alot of fun. And Cossie the rules on toll.no say 1 year but then after 1 year you can apply for another year. You can reapply for up to 3 years on a yearly basis.

Here is the cobra on finn . If anyone is interested in it best to call me at 3708-8776 or 9182-1057. If you dont speak english my wife or one of the kids can explain it all in Norsk. The ad describes most everything. It will need new shocks. It needs new tires. It needs new sway bar bushings. I can assist with getting these from the US. And I would replace the carpet eventually but I think the current carpet is ok just not great. It really needs to be cleaned very well. I don't have a very good garage for the car right now so it is hard to keep it clean. It stays in more of a tractor barn than a garage for the last month. This car needs to be in a heated, clean garage. I hate to see it go

Well the first person to see the Cobra today is buying it. As soon as the Cleveland cranks they decide immediately. The car will be leaving Norway and going to the UK . :( Kind of sad though.

I just want to say "thanks alot vegvesen!!"
